It pays to be an animal lover, if you’re a veterinarian in Minnesota.
If you are a veterinarian in Minnesota who agrees to practice in a designated rural area considered underserved, you may be eligible. You must be a final year student in a veterinarian program or have graduated no more than three years ago from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota. As for your work, you must agree to practice for five years and be at least 50 percent involved with the care of food animals.
If you’re eligible, you may receive up to $15,000 for a max of 5 years.
