If you’re a physician in Georgia, you may be rewarded for practicing in a rural community.
There are only a few requirements for this award. First, you must commit to practice medicine for a minimum of 40 clinical hours per week. Second, you must practice in a Georgia county with fewer than 35,000 people. Lastly, you must participate in the Medicaid program and actively treat Medicaid recipients.
If you’re eligible, you can receive up to $25,000 per year for up to 4 years.
